Answer:

I believe the answer to your question is p = 33

Step-by-step explanation:

Question: p÷3 - 7.2 = 3.8

Step 1: Add 7.2 to both sides of the equation

p÷3 - 7.2 = 3.8

+7.2           +7.2

p÷3 = 11

Adding 7.2 to both sides cancels out 7.2 on the left and whatever you do unto one side of an equation, you must do to the other (it's just a rule in math)

Step 2: Multiply by 3 on both sides

p÷3 = 11

x 3     x 3

p = 33

Same as last time; multiplying by 3 cancels out 3 on the left and whatever you do unto one side, you must do to the other

Can anyone help me with this math question
Lynna [10]

Answer:

89 seats are not being used

Step-by-step explanation:

You subtract the seats being used by teachers

342 - 75 =267

Change 2/3 into a percentage = 66.6%

Find 66.6% of 267= 177.8 (I rounded up to 178)

Then subtract 177.8/178 from 267 to find the amount of seats not being used.

The amount of seats not being used would come down to 89 seats.

I hope this helps!

1 cup = 8 fluid ounces Does that mean it takes 24 fluid ounces of water to fill any 3 plastic cups?
Pavel [41]
Notice they say Plastic cups. Cups and plastic cups are not the same. Cups are a form of measurement while plastic cups are a container. This is not a true statement. Hope this helps!
