V = 2ab + 2ca + 2bc

2ab + 2ca = V - 2bc

2a * b + c = V - 2bc

Answer: a = v - 2bc / 2 * b + c

Answer:

Inverse variation k=4

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

A relationship between two variables, x, and y, represent an inverse variation if it can be expressed in the form y*x=k or y=k/x

In this problem

The graph represent a inverse variation

Because

if x increases ----> y decreases

if x decreases ----> y increases

Find the value of k

we have that

For x=2, y=2 -----> see the graph

k=y*x

substitute

k=2*2=4

Find the total amount given the original price and tax rate. Round to the nearest cent if necessary.
Setler79 [48]

Given:

Original price = $15.25

Tax rate = 7%

To find:

The total amount.

Solution:

We know that,

Total amount = Original price + Tax

According to the question,

Total amount = 15.25 + 7% of 15.25

\text{Total amount}=15.25+\dfrac{7}{100}\times 15.25

\text{Total amount}=15.25+1.0675

\text{Total amount}=16.3175

Round to the nearest cent (two decimal places).

\text{Total amount}\approx 16.32

Therefore, the total value is $16.32.
