If f(x) = 3x and mc010-1.jpg which expression could be used to verify that g(x) is the inverse of f(x)?
saul85 [17]
You could subsitute g(x) for x in f(x) and if you get x as a result, then that is indeed the inverse

ex
if
f(x)=x-2
the inverse which is g(x) is
g(x)=x+2 because if you did
f(g(x)) then you would get
f(g(x))=(2+x)-2=2-2+x=x

The two shorter sides of a triangle are the same length. the length of the longer side is 5 m longer than each of the shorter si
ziro4ka [17]
P=a+b+c. Sub in what we know: 29=a+a+(a+5). Combine like terms: 29=3a+5. Subtract 5 from both sides: 24=3a. Divide by 3: 8=a. Short sides: A=8m, b=8m, long side: c=13m. :)

What is the sum of 16/100 + 6/10
AlexFokin [52]
0.76 or 76/100. Simply add 2 zeros to 6/10 to make it 60/100. That'll make the problem alot easier :).
