I believe you can use ratios and multiply both of them like fractions to get the same amount of bottles and compare the prices fairly.

2:8 = 2/8
1.5:3 = 1.5/3

(2/8)3 = 6/24 or $6 per 24 bottles
(1.5/3)8 = 12/24 or $12 per 24 bottles

In conclusion, the latter ($1.50 for 3) costs more than the $2 per 8.

Elan Coil [88]

Answer:

Tyrell is in the lead by 2 points.

Step-by-step explanation:

Example:

Imagine they both started at 10 points. If Parline lost 5 points (10 - 5) while Tyrell lost 3 points (10 - 3), then it is clear that Tyrell's points (7 remainings) are more than Parline's points (only 5 remainings). Hence, Tyrell is in the lead by 2 points.

How to simplify 7m-2m
vichka [17]
You would have no problem at all if it said "7 cows minus 2 cows", or "7 books minus 2 books". The THINGS just happen to be m's instead of cows or books.
