The minimum systolic blood pressure that one should attempt to achieve with fluid administration or vasoactive would be 90 mmHg or 12 kPa. The systolic blood pressure is the pressure exerted by the arteries during the contraction of the heart muscle. It is the top number in a blood pressure reading. The bottom number represents the diastolic pressure which is the pressure exerted by the heart muscle when at rest between beats.

Hunter-Best [27]

Answer:

Joseph is in his mid-40s. He has been experiencing high blood pressure for some years now. His primary care doctor referred Joseph to a nephrologist who explains the high blood pressure is one the most common causes of chronic kidney disease, because it can damage the large arteries leading to the kidneys in the tiny blood vessels within the kidneys

Explanation:

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a condition in which the kidney is unable to perform its functions properly, causing multiple alterations in the body.

High blood pressure ( HBP ) is, along with diabetes, among the leading causes of kidney failure and chronic kidney disease. HBP causes increased pressure in the renal capillaries, which leads to inflammation and sclerosis of the renal glomerulus, which can lead to CKD.

What the nephologist is trying to explain to Joseph is that if he does not control his blood pressure this can lead to kidney failure in the long term.

You are in the park near your house and notice someone staring at you. They appear to be suspicious and you suddenly feel afraid
pav-90 [236]

Answer:

Best Choice: B

Explanation:

B: Walk quickly but confidently down the busiest street that will take you to your house.

This is the best choice because you will be around other people which might scare off the person. Also, busy streets might have stores (like a convenience store or gas station) that you can go into and ask for help. Option C is the second-best choice but can be risky because what if you ask a person who has ill intentions and decides to help you only to harm you later?
