You can find this simply by putting it into a calculator if you have access to one. Just type √ and 4. If you don't have a calculator, you can just use the knowledge that 2 × 2 = 4, hence why it's the square root of 4 :)
You can also determine that B is correct by doing 2 to the power of 3.
