An angle measures 130° less than the measure of its supplementary angle. What is the measure of each angle?
seropon [69]

Answer:

Angle one is 130 degrees and angle two is 50 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

You can get this answer by knowing that supplementary angles equal 180 degrees in total. So if one angle is 130 degrees less you take that and subtract it from 180 to get 50 degrees as the second angle.

How to solve this equation?
Sholpan [36]

To solve these type of problems is to simply invert the number after the division sign and multiply

2 * \frac{7}{2} = \frac{2}{1} *\frac{7}{2} = \frac{2*7}{1*2} = \frac{14}{2} = 7

solve the following, if triangle PAR is congruent to triangle HER, what are the congruent corresponding parts?
RSB [31]
In this question, the triangles are congruence which means that the two triangles will have same side and angle. The corresponding part can be seen from how the triangle is written. In this case, the triangle seems to be reflected with vertical lines. Using the picture it would be:
PQ= TS
QR=SR
RP=RT

Since your written answer is not same with the picture, then the written answer version would be:
PA=HE
AR=ER
RP=RH

Find the slope of the line that passes through the two points 2,-4 & 4,-1
Lemur [1.5K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

I have this saved on my computer in notepad b/c this type of question get asked sooo often :/

point P1 (-4,-2)  in the form (x1,y1)

point P2(3,1)  in the form (x2,y2)

slope = m

m = (y2-y1) / (x2-x1)

My suggestion is copy that above and save it on your computer for questions like this

now use it

Point 1  , P1 = (2,-4)   in the form (x1,y1)

Point 2 , P2 = (4,-1)  in the form (x2,y2)

m = [ -1-(-4) ]  /  [ 4-2]

m =  (-1+4) / 2

m = 3 / 2

so now we know the slope is  3/2  :)

Three randomly selected households are surveyed. the numbers of people in the households are 1,3,8 assume that samples of size n
uysha [10]

The estimator sample proportion is mathematically unbiased

<h3>What is the estimator sample proportion?</h3>

Generally, the equation for is  mathematically given as

Population sample \mu=1.3

The sample to sample proprotion table will have

first column= 3,5 3,5 3,10,5,3 5,5 5,10 10,3 10,5 10,10

Second coumn= 0,0,0.5,0,0,0.5,05,0.5, total 3

The probability distribution of the distinct variance values table will have

p row=0,0.5,1, Total

probability row= 4/9, 4/9, 1/9, 1

In conclusion, The mean sample

x=3/9

x=1.3

Where

population sample \mu=1.3

\mu= x

Therefore the estimator sample proportion is unbiased for population mean
