Here we basically are finding the hypotenuse of a triangle with side lengths of 120yards+120 yards
Following the equation a^2+b^2=c^2, we are going to solve C this is because a & b at equivalent to 120( side lengths)

A^2 +B^2=C^2
square root= (A^2 +B^2)=C
square root=(120^2+120^2)=C
square root (120^2 + 120^2) = C
square root (14400 + 14400) =C
square root(28800)=169.7 rounded up to 170 yards of fencing needed!

a system of equations has infinitely many solutions. if 2y – 4x = 6 is one of the equations, which could be the other equation?
deff fn [24]
A system of equations has infinitely many solutions when the two lines representing the equations coincide. i.e. the two equations are the same or a multiple of each other.
2y - 4x = 6
2y = 4x + 6
2y = 2(2x + 3)
y = 2x + 3
-y = -(2x + 3)
-y = -2x - 3
Hence the other equation is -y = -2x - 3

A multiple must be greater than or equal to the largest starting number. True or False
podryga [215]

I'll use multiples of 2 and 4 as an example:

Multiples of 2: 2, 4, 6, 8...

Multiples of 4: 4, 8, 12, 16...

The least common multiple in this case is 4. The LCM is always ≥ the largest starting number, which is 4 for this example. Therefore, the statement is true.

Hope this helps! :)
