Electrons are also importantfor the bonding of individual atoms together. With out this bonding force between atoms matter would not be able to interact in the many reactions and forms we see every day. This interaction between the outer electron layers of an atom is call atomic bonding.

Electrons balance the atom by countering the protons. They also play a role in keeping the atom from falling apart

babunello [35]

Answer:

5.0x10⁻⁵ M

Explanation:

It seems the question is incomplete, however this is the data that has been found in a web search:

" One way the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) tests for chloride contaminants in water is by titrating a sample of silver nitrate solution. Any chloride anions in solution will combine with the silver cations to produce bright white silver chloride precipitate. Suppose a EPA chemist tests a 250 mL sample of groundwater known to be contaminated with nickel(II) chloride, which would react with silver nitrate solution like this:

NiCl₂ + 2AgNO₃ → 2AgCl + Ni(NO₃)₂

The chemist adds 50 mM silver nitrate solution to the sample until silver chloride stops forming. She then washes, dries, and weighs the precipitate. She finds she has collected 3.6 mg of silver chloride. Calculate the concentration of nickel(II) chloride contaminant in the original groundwater sample. Round your answer to 2 significant digits. "

Keep in mind that while the process is the same, if the values in your question are different, then your answer will be different as well.

First we calculate the moles of nickel chloride found in the 250 mL sample:

 • 3.6 mg AgCl ÷ 143.32 mg/mmol * \frac{1mmolNiCl_{2}}{2mmolAgCl} = 0.0126 mmol NiCl₂

Now we divide the moles by the volume to calculate the molarity:

 • 0.0126 mmol / 250 mL = 5.0x10⁻⁵M

In two or more complete sentences explain how to balance the chemical equation and classify its reaction type. ___P4 + ___O2 ⟶ _
Serhud [2]

According to the conversation of mass, mass cannot be created or destroyed. This means whatever is done to one side, must be done to the other.

There are 4 Phosphorus atoms on the left, there must be 4 on the right. To do this, you must multiply the P2O3 by 2 to get 4 Phosphorus atoms and 6 Oxygen atoms. Now to balance the Oxygen atoms, you must multiply the oxygen atoms on the left by 3.

1 P4 + 3 O2 —-> 2 P2O3

Lastly, this equation type is synthesis (combination) because two reactants are becoming a single product.

Bogdan [553]
Answer: circle graph.

Justification:

A circle graph (also known as pie chart) is excellent to visualize the relative size of different sectors. Being the entire circle 100%, each sector will show the percent of each category.

In the given example, the circle will be divided in 3 different sectors, in which the size is proportional to the percent of each one.

In the given case::

pH less than 8: 20%

pH between 8 and 8.5: 50%,

pH greater than 8.5: 30%

So, a sector whose area is 20% will represent the first category, a sector whose area is 50% will represent the second category, and a sector whose area is 30% will represent the third category. The whole circle is 100%, this is the sum of the 3 categories is 100%.
