Answer: pH =  0.1

Explanation:  pH = - log[H3O^+] .

 HCl reacts with water : HCl + H2O ->  Cl^- + H3O^+

So [H3O^+] = c(HCl) = 0.8 M

pH = - log(0.8) = 0,0969

Chemist preformed Reaction of solid magnesium burning and found that the mass of the magnesium oxide what is greater than the ma
tankabanditka [31]

Answer:

The magnesium reacted with the oxygen in the air.

Explanation:

For argument’s sake, let’s say that the mass of magnesium oxide was 3 g and that of the oxide was 5 g.

The reaction was

            magnesium + oxygen ⟶ magnesium oxide

Mass:           3 g                                          5 g

Mass of oxygen = 5 g – 3 g = 2 g

The 3 g of magnesium must have combined with 2 g of oxygen to form 5 g of magnesium oxide.

As you add electrons to an energy level, without adding more protons are there more or less repulsive
Dmitry_Shevchenko [17]

Answer:

There will be more repulsive force between the electrons.

Explanation:

Electrons contain negative charge.As a result the electron will repulse another adjacent negatively charged electron.

   According to the given question addition of electrons to en energy level without adding more protons will increase the overall negative charge in the the energy level in which the electrons are added.

  This ultimately leads to generate more repulsive force between the electrons.
