Answer:

A titration is a technique where a solution of known concentration is used to determine the concentration of an unknown solution. Typically, the titrant (the know solution) is added from a buret to a known quantity of the analyte until the reaction is complete

1. Which of the following statements is a consequence of the equation E=MC2
finlep [7]

Answer:

D. All of the above

Explanation:

E = MC² is a common equation in physics.

E is energy

M is mass

C is the speed of light

The law was stated by Albert Einstein.

 • From this law, it was shown that energy is released when matter is destroyed.
 • Mass and energy are equivalent as seen in nuclear reactions where mass is converted to energy.
 • Mass and energy is usually conserved in any process and this is a subtle modification of the law of conservation of matter and energy.
 • Most of these postulates apply to nuclear reactions which generally do not follow some precepts of chemical laws.

Given that w for water is 2. 4×10−14 m^2 at 37 °C. Calculate the ph of a neutral aqueous solution at 37 °c, which is the normal
alexgriva [62]

The pH of a neutral aqueous solution at 37°C is 6.8.

What is Kw?

Kw is defined as the dissociation, which is also known as self-ionization, constant of water. this is an equilibrium constant, and its expression is:

Kw = [OH⁻] . [H₃O⁺]

Neutral pH determines that the concentrations of OH⁻ and H₃O⁺ are equal.

Calculation

Let us suppose concentration of OH and H₃O⁺ is x, to calculate it:

Kw =[OH⁻] . [H₃O⁺] = x²

x² = 2.4 × 10⁻¹⁴ M²

x = 1.5919 × 10⁻⁷ M

Hence, the concentration of OH and H₃O⁺ (x) = [H₃O⁺] = [OH⁻] = 1.5919×10⁻⁷ M

pH = -log[H₃O⁺] = -log( 1.5919×10⁻⁷ M)

pH = 6.8

Thus, we find that the pH of a neutral aqueous solution at 37 °c (which is the normal human body temperature) is 6.8.

What mass of aluminum chloride could be made from 8.1 g of aluminum and 4.2 L of chlorine at STP?
posledela
In this problem Al metal is a limiting reactant as it is present in less amount as compared to chlorine gas, Hence, controls the formation of ALCl3. So, the amount of AlCl3 produced is 40.05 grams. Solution is as follow,

In the second step of this reaction, isocyanic acid reacts to form melamine and carbon dioxide: hnco(l)→c3n3(nh2)3(l)+co2(g) bal
slava [35]

Formula of isocyanic acid is HNCO. It colourless, volatile compound. It is poisonous inorganic compound. Melamine is synthesized from urea. The reaction involves two steps. In first step, urea gets converted to isocyanic acid which is an intermediate. In the second step, isocyanic acid gives melamine (molecular formula C₃H₆N₆) and carbon dioxide (CO₂). The balanced chemical reaction involved in second step is given below:

6 HNCO → 1 C₃N₃(NH₂)₃ + 3CO₂

The co-efficient of the reaction are: 6, 1, 3
