a = g = -9.8 m/s^2 (negative sign is due to the upward motion of tina)

using equation (1), 
0 = 1.8 + (-9.8 * t)
t = 9.8/1.8
t = 0.1836 seconds
but the tina has to travel back to the ground, hence the time taken by tina to be in the air will be
