Answer:

12.18g

Explanation:

You start with a mass of 20.3g of NH₄NO₃

We need to determine from this compound the mass of oxygen that is therein.

First, find the molar mass of the compound;

 NH₄NO₃ = 14 + 4(1) + 14 + 3(16)  = 80g/mol

So;

 Mass of oxygen  = \frac{48}{80} x 20.3   = 12.18g

Since in a chemical reaction, mass is always conserved, 12.18g of oxygen is produced.

One way in which elements differ from each other is the structure of the electron cloud in each elements Atoms in electron cloud
BartSMP [9]

Not sure what you are asking. I have two possible answers though...

It could either be more negatively charged, or valence electrons.

The more away from the nucleus a electron is, the more negatively charged it is.

The electrons on the outermost electron shell is valence electrons.

Again, I don't know what you were asking, but one of these answers may be correct.

1. Which statements represent properties of intermolecular forces? Select all that apply.
kumpel [21]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

Only this choice is applicable and correct.

The inter-molecular forces of attraction between the molecules must have been broken (overcome) before the molecules can gain an increase in the kinetic energies between them.
