Hii can someone explain to me how to do this? tyvm
Snezhnost [94]

Step-by-step explanation:

it's late but I hope it helps :)

imagine that the > symbol is just an equal sign

so for example

x+2>4

will look like

x+2=4

and you solve normally

×=2

now we bring the symbol back

x>2

but if you multiple or divide by a negative the sign flips

so say you have

-2x>4

make it into

-2x=4

solve

x=-2

but instead of >

you put

x < -2

Alex

Answer:

In a right triangle two of these are merged into the same square, so there are only two distinct inscribed squares. However, an obtuse triangle has only one inscribed square, one of whose sides coincides with part of the longest side of the triangle.

Elizabeth has 14 boxes of cookies each box has 28 cookies how many cookies does she have
aev [14]
We calculate this by multiplying the number of cookies by the number of boxes:

28*14=(20+8)*14=280+80+32=360+32=392 (that's how I like to count it, there are also other methods)

so she has 392 cookies in common.

At a particular restaurant, 62% of all customers order an appetizer and 41% of all customers order dessert. If 69% of all custom
jekas [21]

Answer:

In terms of probablity (A - appetizer oredered, B - desert ordered)

P(A)=63%

P(B)=40%

P(AorB)=76%.

Using the formula:

P(AorB)=P(A)+P(B)-P(A&B) we get P(A&B)=63%+40%-76%=27% (probability we were looking for).
