Answer:

this is your personal opinion, so write about how you feel! but, i would like to say how idiotic he is!

In my opinion, Donald Trump was an absolute disaster. He was ra - cist, hom - o - phobic, and se - x - ist. He discriminated against people based off of things they can't control, and managed to succeed in focusing more on Twitter than his presidency. Donald Trump focused on unimportant matters rather than things that should have been addressed, and made an absolute mockery of America.

Answer:

This really depends on the type of person you are talking to.

Explanation:

If you are asking for my opinion, I do not think he was that good of a president. I do not want to go into great detail about those certain actions but they are relevant. Again this depends on who you are asking. Hope this helped a bit.

1. PART A: Which statement best identifies the central
IRISSAK [1]

Answer:

B). The government's use of the PATRIOT Act was created to protect citizens from dangerous acts of terrorism.

Explanation:

The key idea that has been discussed throughout in the text 'The PATRIOT Act: Protection over Privacy' would be 'The government's use of the PATRIOT Act was designed to safeguard the citizens from ravaging acts of terrorism.' It is the controlling idea that dominates the entire narrative and combines the various elements of the text in one single thread and makes it a coherent whole.

The Patriot Act was primarily created with the motive of preventing terrorism which was a serious concern for the government and thus, it was enforced without any delay to ensure the safety of the citizens by enabling the FBI and NSA to gather significant information that would assist in preventing potential acts. Thus, option B is the correct answer.

Jefferson begins the introduction to the Declaration of Independence by stating his major premise and giving examples, and then
ExtremeBDS [4]

Jefferson begins the introduction to the Declaration of Independence by stating his major premise and giving examples, and then explains the relationship between the colonies and Britain.

Further Explanation

The Declaration of Independence begins by stating that it is necessary to state the reasons that caused the colonies to separate themselves from Britain. The next paragraph goes on to state all of the truths that people believe should be afforded to them under the laws of humanity, along with what people should be allowed to do if these rights are violated. Then it goes on to show how Britain violated these rights with the American colonies.

Wrong Answers

B. While the unalienable rights of all people are mentioned in the introduction, they are not fully explained in his introduction. He just lists them as "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". We learn more about these rights as we see how Britain has violated them later on in the document.

C. It is clear from the Declaration of Independence that Jefferson believed that governments should always represent their people. It is not however explained explicitly. It does show how governments must do right by their people in respect to the basic laws of humanity, unalienable rights.

D. The Declaration of Independence is not a declaration of war. While it does address the fact that the colonies will forcibly oppose British rule and any efforts Britain makes to keep control of the colonies, the Declaration of Independence does not outright state that it is choosing to wage war against Britain.
