"Evidence-based medicine" is being used to provide care to patients with the help of treatments that are based on the <em>"latest"</em> and<em> "best" </em>scientific information. This is always in pursuit of the best possible outcome for the patient. It considers three things: <u><em>best evidence, clinical expertise and patient values and preferences.</em></u> In comparison to the traditional medicine, the evidence-based medicine applies "evidence" into practice.
