Archaea and Bacteria were grouped together because they were both Prokaryotes since they had no nucleus. Scientists then realized they were different because archaea can live in extreme environments, and bacteria can't.

Archaea and bacteria were kept together in fact they were classified as bacteria. They have some similarities in common.

  • They were morphologically similar.
  • They both were prokaryotes which means they were not compartmentalized.
  • Archaea and bacteria had similar kind of eating habits.
  • They both used similar ways of respiration which means they both were able to respire using oxygen and other substances too.

How does photosynthesis benefit heterotrophs? * 6 points It adds carbon dioxide to the air. It creates food that they can eat. I
Ann [662]

Answer:

The correct answer is ''It creates food that they can eat.''

Explanation:

The first link or first trophic level, of any food chain is always represented by the producers, (plants, which are photosynthetic organisms), autotrophic organisms, which are capable of transforming the light energy of the sun into a type of energy that can be used by the rest of the living beings. All heterotrophic organisms depend on these energy and matter conversions for their subsistence, that is, animals eat plants and take advantage of those organic compounds to create their own body structure, since heterotrophs, like humans, cannot carry out the photosynthesis, obtain energy by consuming autotrophs and their derivatives.
