Answer:

0.75s , 15ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Use Derivatives,

Notice that the above function is a quadratic curve, meaning it has either a maximum or minimum point, which is the turning point and that is what we are solving for to find a 'max' or 'min'.

\frac{d}{dt}h = \frac{d}{dt}(-16t² + 24t + 6)

\frac{dh}{dt} = -32t + 24

At turning points (max/min),

the gradient is 0 meaning,

\frac{dh}{dt} = -32t + 24 = 0.

t = 24/32 = 3/4

so time = 0.75 second

Substitute this t into the function,

we get h = -16 * 0.75 *0.75 + 24 * 0.75 + 6 = 15ft

if 28 square in the book could be about 4in by 7in (regular size)

What is the least common multiple. Thanks.
o-na [289]

Before we start, find the LCM of 9, 5, and 5, which is 1. The least common multiple for the x is x^3, because it is the smallest exponent. The smallest multiple for y is 0, because the last factor doesn't even have y. For z, it is z^2. So your answer is 1x^3z^2, or just x^3,z^2.

Which expression is equivalent to the expression below?(6c^2+3c/-4c+2)/(2c+1/4c-2)
algol [13]

Answer:

-3c

Step-by-step explanation:

The given expression is:

\frac{\frac{6c^{2}+3c}{-4c+2}}{\frac{2c+1}{4c-2}}

We need to simplify this expression. The rational expression in the denominator can be multiplied to numerator by taking its reciprocal as shown below:

\frac{\frac{6c^{2}+3c}{-4c+2}}{\frac{2c+1}{4c-2}} \\\\ =\frac{6c^{2}+3c}{-4c+2} \times \frac{4c-2}{2c+1}\\\\=\frac{3c(2c+1)}{-(4c-2)} \times \frac{4c-2}{2c+1}\\\\ =-3c

Thus, the given expression in simplified form is equal to -3c
