As the reaction equation is:
COCl4(aq) + 6 H2O(l) ↔ CO (H2O)6(aq) +4 Cl + Heat (missing in your question)
(Blue) (pink)

So the correct answer which reflects the temperature effects is (b) increasing the temperature changes the solution to blue indicating that the equilibrium shifts to the left and decreasing the temperature changes the solution to pink indicating that the equilibrium shifts to right.
- as when the heat increases (and it's a product) the reaction move towards the reactants to increase the reactants to make the equilibrium again so it shifts leftwards and COCl4 which has the blue indicator will increase to make the equilibrium.
-But when the temperature decreases the reaction move towards the products to increase the products (which the heat one of them) to make equilibrium again so, it shifts rightwards and CO(H2O)6 (which has the pink indicator) will increase to make the equilibrium.

Ability to conduct electricity
Alex17521 [72]

Metals have the ability to conduct electricity.

Metals are lustrous, malleable, ductile and are good conductor of heat and electricity.

They conduct electricity because the electrons in metal are delocalized electrons and are free moving electrons so when they gain energy (heat) they vibrate more quickly and can move around, this means that they can pass on the energy more quickly.

One way to identify the type of radioactive decay produced in a reaction is to pass the emission through an electric field Descr
Elena L [17]

Decay of Uranium-238 produces gamma radiaton whereas decay of thorium-234 releases beta radiation.

What type of radiation is produced?

In the decay of U-238, two gamma rays of different energies are emitted in addition to the alpha particle while on the other hand, in the decay of thorium-234 , beta rays are emitted.

So we can conclude that decay of Uranium-238 produces gamma radiaton whereas decay of thorium-234 releases beta radiation.

Depending on the reaction, we could monitor the progress towards equilibrium by observing __________.
Alex Ar [27]

Depending on the reaction, we could monitor the progress towards equilibrium by observing the concentration of the reactant and the product are equal with time.

What is equilibrium?

Equilibrium is a stage of reaction in which the rate of forwarding reaction is equal to the rate of backward reaction and equilibrium is stable at the reversible state of mode.

The concentration of reactant and product must also be equal or the same as the time then only it can be an equilibrium reaction.

Therefore equilibrium depends on the reaction, the concentration of the reactant and the product are equal with time.
