Marnie was hospitalized for psychotic symptoms that made her a danger to herself and others. During this time, she had many hall

ucinations and delusions, flat affect, and very disorganized thinking. These symptoms had been emerging for many months, but eventually got severe enough after about eight months to require hospitalization.
