Dustin has a bag of marbles with 4 blue marbles, 4 white marbles, and 3 red marbles.
diamong [38]

Answer:

A.

\dfrac{6}{55}

B.

\dfrac{6}{55}

C.

\dfrac{4}{165}

Step-by-step explanation:

Dustin has a bag of marbles with 4 blue marbles, 4 white marbles, and 3 red marbles. There are 11 marbles in total.

A. The probability that the first marble drawn is blue marble is

\dfrac{4}{11},

the probability that the second marble drawn is red marble is

\dfrac{3}{10}

The probability that the first marble drawn is blue and the second is red is

\dfrac{4}{11}\cdot \dfrac{3}{10}=\dfrac{12}{110}=\dfrac{6}{55}

B. The probability that the first marble drawn is red marble is

\dfrac{3}{11},

the probability that the second marble drawn is white marble is

\dfrac{4}{10}

The probability that the first marble drawn is red and the second is white is

\dfrac{3}{11}\cdot \dfrac{4}{10}=\dfrac{12}{110}=\dfrac{6}{55}

C. The probability that the first marble drawn is blue marble is

\dfrac{4}{11},

the probability that the second marble drawn is blue marble is

\dfrac{3}{10},

the probability that the third marble drawn is blue marble is

\dfrac{2}{9},

The probability that the first, second and third marbles drawn are blue is

\dfrac{4}{11}\cdot \dfrac{3}{10}\cdot \dfrac{2}{9}=\dfrac{24}{990}=\dfrac{4}{165}

When working with scientific notation, what does a negative exponent let you know about the size of the number?
Delicious77 [7]

well, you saw it on the previous exercise, 8.25 x 10⁻⁶, it <u>looks</u> like 8.25 is some value between 1 and 10, but is not really, the 10⁻⁶ is disguising that is really much smaller than that, in fact much smaller than even 1.

find the side length of a cube with a volume of 69 to the 3 power yds . If necessary, round your answer to the nearest tenth.
dimulka [17.4K]

Answer:

the side length of the cube is 4.10

Step-by-step explanation:

The computation of the side length of the cube is shown below:

As we know that

The volume of the cube is side^3

So,

69^3 = s^3

Now the side length of the cube is

= ∛69

= 4.10

Hence, the side length of the cube is 4.10

The same would be considered and relevant too

The above formula should be applied for the same

Help please!<br>30 POINTS!
enot [183]

Answer:

210

Step-by-step explanation:

so the four Smallest Primes :

2, 3, 5, 7

When the number is Divided by 2, 3, 5 & 7 Leaves remainder 1

so N = 2a + 1

N = 3b + 1

N = 5c + 1

N = 7d + 1

-> N -  1 =  2a  = 3b = 5c  = 7d

N -  1  =  2 * 3 *  5 * 7

-> N -  1 = 210

-> N = 211

Next  N - 1  =  2(210)

-> N - 1 = 420

-> N =421

Difference  = 421 - 211  =  210
