To figure out what a fraction is as a decimal u would do the top divided by the bottom

For this fraction it would look like this,

8 divided by 9 which would get you 0.88888888888

So your decimal is  0.889

Its not 0.888 because with decimals since a typical decimal is show as 2-3 numbers it would be rounded up to keep it as 3 numbers or less. so this would be 0.889 or if that doesnt work 0.888 with a line over the last 8.

1) y = 1x + 95.50
x = number of bandanas

2) y = (1 • 50) + 95.50
$145.50 for 50 bandannas

3) 116.50 = 1x + 95.50
get x by itself

116.50 = 1x+ 95.50
-95.50 -95.50

21 = 1x
divide by 1
21 = x
you get 21 bandannas when you pay $116.50

Which sequence of a transformation will result in an image that maps onto itself? A) rotate 180 degrees counterclockwise and the
Firdavs [7]

The <em>correct answer</em> is:

D) reflect over the y axis and then reflect again over the y axis.

Explanation:

Logically, if we reflect a figure across the y-axis and then reflect across the y-axis again, we have undone what we originally did, and the figure is back in its original position.

Algebraically, reflecting across the y-axis maps every point (x, y) to (-x, y). Reflecting this point across the y-axis maps (-x, y) to (x, y); this is our original point.

3(s-5)/4 -3 = 4s- (s-3)/2<br>pls answer fast
Jobisdone [24]

Answer:

s =  \frac{9± \sqrt{ - 39} }{4}

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{3(s - 5)}{4 - 3}  =  \frac{4s \times (s - 3)}{2}

➡️ \frac{3(s - 5)}{1}  = 2s \times (s - 3)

➡️ 3s - 15 = 2 {s}^{2}  - 6s

➡️ 3s - 15  -  2 {s}^{2}  + 6s = 0

➡️ 9s - 15 - 2 {s}^{2}  = 0

➡️ - 2 {s}^{2}  + 9s - 15 = 0

➡️ 2 {s}^{2}  - 9s + 15 = 0

➡️ s =  \frac{ - ( - 9)± \sqrt{( - 9 {)}^{2}  - 4 \times 2 \times 15} }{2 \times 2}

➡️ s =  \frac{9± \sqrt{81 - 120} }{4}

➡️ s =  \frac{9± \sqrt{ - 39} }{4}

➡️ s∉ℝ

Which equation applies the associative property of multiplication?
Radda [10]

-5/12 x (6/5 x 1/3) x 9/2 = (-5/12 x 6/5) x (1/3 x 9/2) as said equation correlates with the following formula: (a x b) x c = a x (b x c) where the way you group three or more numbers when adding or multiplying does not change their overall sum or product. Hope this helped! :)
