Answer:

New volume V2 = 96 ml

Explanation:

Given:

Old volume V1 = 100 ml

Old pressure P1 = 1.92 atm

New pressure P2 = 2 atm

Find:

New volume V2

Computation:

Using Boyle's Law

P1V1 = P2V2

(1.92)(100) = (2)(V2)

V2 = 96

New volume V2 = 96 ml

How many liters of 1.2M solution can be prepared with 0.50 moles of C6H12O6
BigorU [14]
First you need to know the molecular weight of sugar (C6H12O6) which is 180.156g/mol
You have half a mole so you have 90.078g
If you wanted to make 1L of a 1.2M solution of glucose you would need 180.156*1.2=216.1872g
But you only have 90.078g
So you need to figure out how much this 90.078g will make if the solution must be 1.2M:
90.078g/216.1872g=xL/1L
solve for the X and you get 0.416666666...
so 416.7ml or 0.417L

What occurs when a coordinate covalent bond is formed between nitrogen and hydrogen in the ammonium ion, NH4+?
NeX [460]
Covalent bonds are formed when electrons are shared between elements that are nonmetals. The ammonium ion, NH+4 , would have covalent bonds because both nitrogen and hydrogen are nonmetals. ... So, the bond between this particular hydrogen atom and the central nitrogen is a dative covalent bond.

How could an increase in industrial activity in developing nations contribute to global climate change?
netineya [11]
If there is an increase in industrial activity, that means that more heat will be dissipated to the atmosphere in the form of carbon dioxide. Industrialization requires fuel to keep the processes on the go. At the end of the pipeline, the combustion of fuel would result to carbon dioxide released to the atmosphere. That's how it is contributing to the global climate change through the greenhouse effect.
