Please help find the area?!
frez [133]

Hey there! How is your day going?

Sorry if I'm a bit rusty here, math isn't my best subject, necessarily.

If you will notice ABCD is similar in size to EFGH, but the measurements are multiplied by 5. So, all we need to do is multiply the area of ABCD by 5.

35 x 5 = 175

So, your answer is 175 ft²

I hope this helped you, as it has helped me learn a different way to find the area of a rectangle. And I hope you have a very nice day!

Your friend in answering and in need,

~Steve

Mademuasel [1]

The area of the rhombus is 829.1562m².

<h3>What is the area of the rhombus?</h3>

A rhombus is a four sides quadrilateral with the four sides equal in length

The area of a rhombus =  \frac{1}{4}d ×√(p² - 4d²)

where p is the perimeter and d is the diagonal

1/4(50) x √(120² - 4 x 50²) =829.1562m²

Cody and Sam mowed the yard on Saturday. Dad told Cody to mow 1/4 of the yard. He told Sam to mow 1/3 of the remainder of the ya
ella [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Dad told Cody to mow \frac{1}{4} of the yard.

He told Sam to mow \frac{1}{3} of the remainder of the yard.

Sam might be thinking \frac{1}{3} is bigger than \frac{1}{4}

But actually Sam was told to mow :

\frac{1}{3} of (1 - \frac{1}{4})

\frac{1}{3} × (1 - \frac{1}{4})

= \frac{1}{3} × \frac{3}{4}

= \frac{1}{4}

Therefore, both mowed the yard in equal amount.
