Hey there!

Prime numbers are basically only approximately 2 FACTORS... 1 & that particular number

3 is PRIME because the only factors it has is 1 & 3 (so we can eliminate this as your possible answer)

29 is PRIME because it has 1 & 29 as its factors (we can eliminate this as your possible answer)

71 is PRIME because it has 1 & 71 as its factors as well! (So we can eliminate as your possible answer)

This leads Option B as your answer

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!

A cone shaped vase has a radius of 12 cm and a height of 45 cm. What is the exact value of the volume of the vase?
sesenic [268]
We know that
the Volume of the cone=(1/3)*B*h
B= area of the base
h= height of the pyramid------> 45 cm

then
B=pi*r²=pi*12²=452.16 cm²
V=(1/3)*[452.16*45]=6782.4 cm³

the answer is 6782.4 cm³

The cost for laminating varies directly with the number of pages laminated. A customer had 19 pages laminated and paid $16.15.
strojnjashka [21]
Y=kx --- $16.15=K❎19 --- 16.15/19 =.85 --- the cost per page is 85 cents. .85x31 =$26.35 :)

I have the area of a circle but how do i find the radius
Tatiana [17]

Answer:

r = √(A/π)

Substitute area into "A", then solve:

Divide A by π, then find the square root of that number.

Explanation:

With the area of a circle, you can find the radius by rearranging its formula.

Area of a circle: A = πr²

<u>Rearrange the formula to isolate "r"</u>.

A = πr²

A/π = πr²/π           Divide both sides by π

A/π = r²                 π divided by π cancels out on the right

√(A/π) = √r²         √ both sides to cancel out ²

√(A/π) = r             Write "r" on the left for standard formatting

r = √(A/π)             Formula for find radius

If you have the area, use this formula.

  1. Substitute "A" with the area.
  2. Divide A by π
  3. Find the square root of that number
