Explanation:

Gold conducts heat and electricity. ...

Gold is ductile: It can be drawn out into the thinnest wire. ...

Gold is highly reflective of heat and light. ...

Gold is prized for its beauty. ...

Gold is malleable, so it can be flattened into extremely thin sheets.

on the other hand Gold consist of copper

Key Properties of Copper Alloys

Excellent heat conductivity.

Excellent electrical conductivity.

Good corrosion resistance.

Good biofouling resistance.

Good machinability.

Retention of mechanical and electrical properties at cryogenic temperatures.

Non-magnetic.

so the difference is that copper is less expensive and not priced with its beauty

4. Consider a 33.0 mL solution containing 0.0758 M NaF and 0.0955 M HF. What is the total number of moles of HF after the additi
Ostrovityanka [42]
Buffer solution resist the change in pH upon addition of small amount of strong acid or strong base.
Buffer consists of weak acid as HF / and its conjugate base NaF
When strong acid as HCl is added to buffer, it respond with its conjugate base to convert the strong acid to weak acid like this:
HCl (S.A) + NaF → NaCl + HF (W.A)
moles of HF we already have = M * V(in liters)
                                                = 0.0955 M * 0.033 L = 3.15 x 10⁻³ mole
moles of HCl added = 8.00 x 10⁻⁵ mole
one mole HCl reacts with 1 mole NaF to give 1 mole HF
so the amount added to HF = 8.00 x 10⁻⁵
Total moles of HF present = (3.15 x 10⁻³) + (8.00 x 10⁻⁵) = 3.23 x 10⁻³ mole

he mineral rhodochrosite [manganese(II) carbonate, MnCO3] is a commercially important source of manganese. Write a half-reaction
valina [46]

Answer:

MnCO_{3}+2H_{2}O-2e^{-}\rightarrow MnO_{2}+HCO_{3}^{-}+3H^{+}

Explanation:

Half reaction:MnCO_{3}\rightarrow MnO_{2}

(1)CO_{3} balance: MnCO_{3}\rightarrow MnO_{2}+HCO_{3}^{-}

(2)H and O balance in acidic medium:MnCO_{3}+2H_{2}O\rightarrow MnO_{2}+HCO_{3}^{-}+3H^{+}

(3) charge balance:MnCO_{3}+2H_{2}O-2e^{-}\rightarrow MnO_{2}+HCO_{3}^{-}+3H^{+}

Hence balanced half-reaction:MnCO_{3}+2H_{2}O-2e^{-}\rightarrow MnO_{2}+HCO_{3}^{-}+3H^{+}

What are the hypotheses on which Dalton's atomic theory is based?
worty [1.4K]

Answer:

 Dalton's theory are based on the two laws  that are: Law of conservation of mass and law of constant composition. This theory basically described their properties of atoms.

This theory state that all the atoms are made up of matter which are invisible and in the elements all the atoms are identical in mass and properties.
