The chemical reaction in which a highly reactive metal displaces the less reactive metal from its compound, is called a chemical displacement reaction.

The order of reactivity of metals is  shown below:

K>Na>Ca>Mg>Al>Fe>Sn>Pb>[H]>Cu>Ag>Hg>Au>Pt

So, Al is more reactive than Cu and less reactive than potassium.

Part 2:

Al is more reactive than Cu and less reactive than potassium.

Hence, it does not react with KNO3 and reacts with Cu(NO3)2.
