Answer:

18 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

If sue wants to enlarge the photo so the length is 30 inches, since the photo is orginally 5 inches long, figure out 5 times what equals 30

Since 5 times 6 equals 30, multiply the width by 6 too

3/5 = 18/30

What’s the probability?
son4ous [18]

Answer:

\frac{1}{8}

Step-by-step explanation:

The probability for a flip on either side of the coin is always 50% or \frac{1}{2}

So to get the probability for the three flips just do:

(\frac{1}{2}) ^{3}  or \frac{1}{2} × \frac{1}{2} × \frac{1}{2}

Either way you solve it the answer is \frac{1}{8}

How do i solve this? <br><br> 7 &lt; 3 - 2x<br><br><br> It's linear inequalities
Natasha2012 [34]

Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:

x < -2

Discussion:

7 < 3 - 2x                       => Add 2x to both sides

7 + 2x < 3 - (2x - 2x)     =>  As 2x -2x = 0

7 + 2x < 3                      =>  Subtract  7 from both sides

(7-7) +  2x < 3 - 7           => As 7-7 = 0 and 3-7 = -4

2x < -4                           => Divide both sides by 2

x < -4./2 = -2

Thank you,

MrB
