On Ramesh’s13th birthday, his father invited all his friends and their relatives. It was a big party with lots of food and DJs.

Ramesh didn’t like the loud sound of DJs and asked his father to play it in a low volume so that their neighbours do not get much disturbed and people at the party can also enjoy the music. Ramesh’s father felt good for his wisdom and did as he said.
→Do you think when loud music is played at a party is acceptable to all the people living in, neighbourhood? Give a reason for your answer
→How can you control noise pollution at your end?

An 80 N force causes a spring to compress 0.15 m. What is the spring constant? What is the potential energy of the spring?
Anni [7]
Force = -kx
80N=0.15m * -k
K=-80/0.15=533.333. Spring constant
Energy=1/2kx^2
1/2*(-80/0.15)*80^2=Energy

A ball traveling at a speed ν0 rolls off a desk and lands at a horizontal distance x0 away from the desk, as shown in the figure
klasskru [66]

Answer:

3x_0

Explanation:

The horizontal distance covered by the ball in the falling is only determined by its horizontal motion - in fact, it is given by

d=v_x t

where

v_x is the horizontal velocity

t is the time of flight

The time of flight, instead, is only determined by the vertical motion of the ball: however, in this problem the vertical velocity is not changed (it is zero in both cases), so the time of flight remains the same.

In the first situation, the horizontal distance covered is

d=v_0 t = x_0

in the second case, the horizontal velocity is increased to

v_x' = 3v_0

And so the new distance travelled will be

d' = v_x' t = 3 v_0 t = 3 x_0

So, the distance increases linearly with the horizontal velocity.

An air-filled parallel-plate capacitor has plates of area 2.90 cm2 separated by 2.50 mm. The capacitor is connected to a(n) 18.0
Murrr4er [49]

Complete question:

An air-filled parallel-plate capacitor has plates of area 2.90 cm2 separated by 2.50 mm. The capacitor is connected to a(n) 18.0 V battery. Find the value of its capacitance.

Answer:

The value of its capacitance is 1.027 x 10⁻¹² F

Explanation:

Given;

area of the plate, A = 2.9 cm² = 2.9 x 10⁻⁴ m²

separation distance of the plates, d = 2.5 mm = 2.5 x 10⁻³ m

voltage of the battery, V = 18 V

The value of its capacitance is calculated as;

C = \frac{k\epsilon_0A}{d} \\\\C = \frac{(1)(8.85\times 10^{-12})(2.9 \times 10^{-4})}{2.5 \times 10^{-3}} \\\\C = 1.027 \times 10^{-12} \ F

Therefore, the value of its capacitance is 1.027 x 10⁻¹² F

If earth had no landmasses, then the idealized zonal precipitation pattern would have _______.
inysia [295]

If the planet earth has no land masses, the idealized zonal precipitation pattern would likely have regions that are wet in the equator and there will be more of mid-latitudes if the earth has no land masses at all and it does not exist.

Carlos uses a rope to pull his car 30 m to a parking lot because it ran out of gas. If Carlos exerts 2,000 N of force to pull th
Mariulka [41]

Answer:

Explanation:

Remark

The only thing that might trip you up is what to do with the angle. The vertical component of the 15 degrees does no work against anything. So the 15 degrees limits the horizontal force.

The formula is

Work = F * d * cos(15)

The givens are

F = 2000 N

d = 30 m

Cos(15) = 0.9659

Solution

Work = 2000 * 30 * cos(15)

Work = 57,955

Rounded to two places would be 5.8 * 10^4
