Answer:

a) 40 is the interquartile range

descriptive statistics, the interquartile range, also called the midspread, middle 50%, or H‑spread, is a measure of statistical dispersion, being equal to the difference between 75th and 25th percentiles, or between upper and lower quartiles, IQR = Q₃ − Q₁.

b).

The first thing you always need to do before estimating fractions is to round each fraction either to the nearest 0, 1/2, or 1. Example #1. Estimate 3/7 + 5/9. Notice that 3/7 is close to 1/2 and 5/9 is also close to 1/2. Therefore, an estimate for 3/7 + 5/9 is 1/2 + 1/2 = 1.

Can somebody body answer this for me plz.
AleksandrR [38]
I can’t see the coordinates to help you do this but I’m going to try explaining it to you. in the first example on your sheet you can see 2 of the points of the triangle are 1 above the x axis. to reflect it over the x axis you’d go 1 below the x axis. To reflect over the y axis you do the same thing. Looking at the point (1,1) I think still on the triangle one. You see it’s 1 away from the y axis so you’d do the same thing as in the x. it’d be (-1,1).

Can someone solve n/7-12=5n+5 step by step pls
prohojiy [21]

Answer:

n=-7/2 I hate asking for things but can i have brainliest im trying to rank up.

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.

n/7−12=5n+5

1/7n+−12=5n+5

1/7n−12=5n+5

Step 2: Subtract 5n from both sides.

1/7n−12−5n=5n+5−5n

-34/7n−12=5

Step 3: Add 12 to both sides.

-34/7n−12+12=5+12

-34/7n=17

Step 4: Multiply both sides by 7/(-34).

(7/-34)*(-34/7n)=(7/34)*(17)

Two sides of a parallelogram are in the ratio 5:4. If the perimeter is 54cm , the length of the larger side is -
Ainat [17]

Answer:

15 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

If we have two sides of a parallelogram in the ratio 5:4, then the other two sides must also be in the same ratio.

If the perimeter is 54, we can create the following equation regarding the length of each side

5x+4x+5x+4x=54\\\\18x=54\\\\x=3

As our value for x is 3, and we know that the value for the larger side is 5x, we can simply plug in x to get the length of the larger side

5x\\\\5(3)\\\\15

How do you find the GCF of a number?
Anika [276]
 1. Find all the Factors of each number
 2. Circle the Common factors
 3. Choose the Greatest out of those numbers.

Example: (Bold=Common Factors)

Factors of 12: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12

Factors of 16: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16

4 is the Greatest Common Factor between 12 & 16. Hope this helps! (Brainliest please? Would be appreciated.) =^-^=
