The second law states that the acceleration of an object is dependent upon two variables - the net force acting upon the object and the mass of the object. F = ma; a = F/m. This means that Force over the mass. In order to improve the acceleration without redesigning is that the company has to improve the force assuming that the mass is still the same.

Which of the following is a nonmetallic mineral resource?. A. wood . B. iron . C. coal . D. aggregate
sesenic [268]

Answer: The correct option is D.

Explanation: Nonmetallic minerals are the chemical elements from which no new product can be formed when they are melted. For Example: Sand, marble etc..

For the given options:

Option A: Wood is a type of cellulose and is not considered as a nonmetallic mineral resource.

Option B: Iron is an element because it is the smallest substance which cannot be broken down. It is not considered as a nonmetallic mineral resource.

Option C: Coal is a mixture of carbon compounds. This is very close to mineral but is an organic mineral because it contains carbon atom. Hence, it is not considered as a nonmetallic mineral resource.

Option D: Aggregate is formed by the collection of particles forming a whole mass. This is a non-metallic resource as it cannot form any new product.

Hence, the correct option is D.

Care needs to be taken when adding acid to base because
nikitadnepr [17]
Mixing an acid and a base results in neutralization, but the results are potentially dangerous. No matter which acid or base is used, the resulting solution is water and varying types of salt. The process of neutralization often involves the substances heating up when they come together. If the solution heats up too much or too fast, a violent explosion or the creation of harmful or flammable gases is a possibility. This occurs when the chemicals are mixed too quickly, the acid and base are too strong or if there is no available salt to be made in the solution.
