Kinetic energy:
KE= .5 mv^2
KE = .5 * 1000 kg * 3 m’s^2
KE = 4500 kg m^2/s^2
KE = 4500 Joules

Calculate the kinetic energy of a Cheetoh truck (yum) that has a mass of 290kg and is moving at 30m/s
mr_godi [17]

Answer:

The Kinetic energy of the Cheeto truck = 130,500 J

Explanation:

The Formula for Kinetic energy is

K.E = 1/2 x M x V^2

So in this Situation Mass(M) is 290kg

Velocity (V) is 30 m/s

Inputting these values into our equation gives us

K.E = 1/2 x 290 x 30^2

30 times 30 = 900

So K.E = 1/2 x 290 x 900

Simplifing this we get : K.E = 290 x 450

So K.E = 130,500 Kgm^2/s^2

Now the unit's Kgm^2/s^2 scientific name is Joule and symbol (J).

So K.E = 130,500 J

P.S: Oh man, now I have a craving for some Cheetos!

Q1 b name the three tiny particles which make up atoms ? a write the charge alongside each one ?
Alex_Xolod [135]

Answer:

Protons

Neutrons

Electrons.

Protons + charge(positively charged)

Neurons no charge.

Electrons - ( negatively charged).

Explanation:

Atom is the smallest unit of a matter that constitutes chemical elements.

It is composed of three particles which are protons,neutrons and electrons.

Protons is positively charged,neuron has no charge and electrons is negatively charged.

Proton and neuron are found in the nucleus while electron is found outside the neuron.

If a light is moved twice (2x) as far from a surface, the area the light covers is ___ as big.
Ksenya-84 [330]

Answer:

twice

Explanation:

From magnification = height of image / height of object

Distance of image/ distance of object = magnification

If the distance and height of the object represents the initial light distance and the exposed surface respectively.

And similarly the distance and height of the image represents the final light distance and the exposed surface respectively.

Hence the new image exposure would be twice as large.

If we use the formula our point of investigation is Height of image,

H2= D2/D1× H1

H2 = 2D2/D1 × H1

H2 = 2H1

How do variations in electronegativity result in the unequal sharing of electrons in polar molecules?
9966 [12]

Answer:

Variations in electronegativity result in the unequal sharing of electrons in polar molecules because when one atom is more electronegative than the other, it becomes more polar than the other atom. ... Methane bonds are covalent because they share carbon and hydrogen valence electrons.xplanation:
