Answer:

F = 56 N

Explanation:

  • Assuming that the applied force is parallel to the displacement, according to the definition of work, we can write the following expression for the force required:

       F = \frac{W}{\Delta x} =\frac{560J}{10m} = 56 N (1)

A disk of radius 25 cm spinning at a rate of 30 rpm slows to a stop over 3 seconds. What is the angular acceleration? B. How man
iVinArrow [24]

Answer:

Explanation:

30 rev/min (2π rad/rev) / (60 s/min) = π rad/s

α = Δω/t = (0 - π)/3 = π/3 rad/s²

θ = ½αt² = ½(π/3)3² = 1.5π radians

θ = 1.5π rad/2π rad/rev = 0.75 rev

How is the kinetic energy of the particles that make up a substance different
never [62]

Answer:

Explanation:

The faster particles move, the more kinetic energy they have. Within a given substance, such as water, particles in the solid state have the least amount of kinetic energy. This is because they only vibrate in place. Particles in the liquid state move faster than particles in the solid state.

a 95 kg football player is initially running at 8.25 m/s. The football player slows down to .47 m/s. What is the change in kinet
aliya0001 [1]
Change in KE = K_initial - K_final
= (½)m(v_final)² - (½)m(v_initial)²
= (½)(95)(0.47)² - (½)(95)(8.25)²
= -3222.476
