5 Is the Mean
The IQR for Q1 is 2.5 and Q3 is 7.5

It is basically the median of { 1 2 3 4 } and { 6 7 8 9 } not including 5

What do I need to subtract from to get angle two?
ololo11 [35]
Step 1) Add up the three given angles: 125+109+83 = 317

Step 2) Subtract the result (found in step one) from 360
360 - 317 = 43

The reason for the 360 is because for any four-sided polygon, the angles always add up to 360 degrees.

The answer is 43

Find the linear approximation of the function f(x, y, z) = x2 + y2 + z2 at (6, 6, 3) and use it to approximate the number 6.022
Licemer1 [7]
Near the point (6, 6, 3), we have the approximation

f(x,y,z)\approx f(6,6,3)+f_x(6,6,3)(x-6)+f_y(6,6,3)(y-6)+f_z(6,6,3)(z-3)

where the subscripted f's refer to the corresponding partial derivatives.

f(x,y,z)=x^2+y^2+z^2
\implies\begin{cases}f_x(x,y,z)=2x\\f_y(x,y,z)=2y\\f_z(x,y,z)=2z\end{cases}

So

f(6.02,5.97,2.99)\approx80.8288

Compare to more precise value,

f(6.02,5.97,2.99)\approx80.8214

The main road in Belleville is 7 3/10 Miles long so far 2 3/4 miles have been repaved. How many miles have not been repaved
Leto [7]
4 9/20 miles haven’t been paved. You have to set the denominators of the fractions equal to each other, which would be 20. Then, subtract the numbers to get your final answer.
