Answer:

An environmentalist is a person who is concerned with the conservation of the environment as well as improving its health, particularly as it relates to the influence of changes to the environment on humans, animals, plants, as well as non-living matter.

Environmentalism, on the other hand, focuses on the environmental and nature-related components of green ideology and politics, while ecology integrates the ideologies of social ecology and environmentalism. As a movement to regulate pollution or maintain plant and animal diversity, environmentalism encourages the preservation, restoration, and improvement of Earth's natural environment and essential earth system elements or processes, such as the climate. [1] The biophilia hypothesis and themes such as land ethic and environmental ethics are prominently featured.

Environmentalism is fundamentally an attempt to strike a balance between humans and the many natural systems on which they rely so that all of the components are given an appropriate degree of sustainability. In practice, environmental concerns can be conveyed in many different ways. Although the color green is commonly used to represent environmentalists and environmental concerns, greenwashing is actually a marketing practice that has been taken from this connotation by the marketing sectors.

It argues that the Earth is not as fragile as some environmentalists claim and that environmentalists are overreacting to climate change or opposing human progress.

Answer:

Environmentalism or environmental rights is a broad philosophy, ideology, and social movement regarding concerns for environmental protection and improvement of the health of the environment, particularly as the measure for this health seeks to incorporate the impact of changes to the environment on humans, animals, plants and non-living matter. While environmentalism focuses more on the environmental and nature-related aspects of green ideology and politics, ecology combines the ideology of social ecology and environmentalism.

Environmentalism advocates the preservation, restoration and improvement of the natural environment and critical earth system elements or processes such as the climate, and may be referred to as a movement to control pollution or protect plant and animal diversity.[1] For this reason, concepts such as a land ethic, environmental ethics, biodiversity, ecology, and the biophilia hypothesis figure predominantly.

At its crux, environmentalism is an attempt to balance relations between humans and the various natural systems on which they depend in such a way that all the components are accorded a proper degree of sustainability. The exact measures and outcomes of this balance is controversial and there are many different ways for environmental concerns to be expressed in practice. Environmentalism and environmental concerns are often represented by the colour green,[2] but this association has been appropriated by the marketing industries for the tactic known as greenwashing.

Environmentalism is opposed by anti-environmentalism, which says that the Earth is less fragile than some environmentalists maintain, and portrays environmentalism as overreacting to the human contribution to climate change or opposing human advancement.

The USDA recommends that whole grains make up at least what percentage of our daily grain intake?
arlik [135]
The most recent Dietary Guidelines for Americans, released in January 2011, recommend that all adults eat at least half their grains as whole grains – that’s at least 3 to 5 servings of whole grains. Even children need 2 to 3 servings or more. Recommendations in Canada’s Food Guide are almost exactly the same. (Not surprising, since the human body changes little from country to country!)
