The answer would be the first one :)
I assume you are calculating the total area to be painted.
Then 3 x 8.3 x 7.5 = 186.75 sq. ft.
8(x-2) = 3(x+3) I am not sure what we were supposed to do because you did not state what form we are converting this to.
