The project that you are working on was initiated in response to the growing threat of antibiotic resistance in both hospital an

d community settings. Even in the early discovery and development phase, it is important to think ahead to try to minimize the likelihood that bacteria will be able to evolve resistance to your new drug. Understanding how resistance emerges is an essential part of this process. What is true regarding the evolution of antibiotic resistance in bacteria?

Answer:

Decrease the effectiveness of this process.

Explanation:

Resistance emerges is an essential part of this process because this resistance causes decrease in the effectiveness of the drugs. If this resistance is not a part of this process, the microbes get resistance from the drugs which  leads to lower the effectiveness of antimicrobial disease or infection so that's why resistance is considered as the essential part of this process of project.

A science class is checking to see how much life exists in local streams. One of the students records that 20 amoeba were found
Naya [18.7K]
What this student is doing is collecting data. So, he wants to check how many life forms there are in the waters nearby. In order to do so, he has to take a sample, and look at it through a microscope so as to determine the number. So, he collected a sample which is his data. He is not drawing conclusions yet, but rather counting these organisms. He is not making a peer review - his peers aren't even mentioned here. He is not forming a hypothesis because he is just counting at this point.

Gregor mendel crossbred pea plants for a variety of traits. What did he learn about dominant and recessive traits?
vladimir1956 [14]
Gregor Mendel crossbred two different pea plants. One of the plants had yellow peas (a dominant trait) and one of the plants had green peas (a recessive trait). The yellow pea plant was heterozygous for its trait meaning its alleles will be Yy. The green plant, because it is recessive, was homozygous for its trait, yy. When these plants were crossbred, two of the offspring resulted in heterozygous for the yellow trait and the other two offspring were homozygous for the green trait.
