The answer is in the picture below.

Further Explanation

Hydrocarbon compounds are compounds that contain elements not hydrogen (H) and carbon (C) by forming bonds. The carbon atom is one atom that is pretty much in nature. The existence of carbon atoms in nature in the form of carbon, graphite, and diamond In the arrangement of the periodic table uns, carbon atoms have atomic number 6. The number of valence electrons in carbon atoms is 4, so one way to be stable in making bonds with 4 hydrogen atoms (H), which is then named hydrocarbons. Hydrocarbon compounds contain chemical compounds consisting of a long series of carbon chains. Mixed formulas can be found in gasoline, asphalt, wax, lubricating oil (oil), diesel fuel, and many other natural materials which consist of a long series of carbon chains.

Alkanes are hydrocarbon compounds with a single carbon chain bond. The alkane general formula is stated in the general formula CnH2n + 2. That is, in alkane compounds for as many as n C atoms there will be 2n + 2 H atoms bound. The alkane series for 1 C atom is called methane. For 2 C atoms, the C2H6 alkane series has the name ethane. Other names for alkane compounds include propane, butane, pentane, hexane, heptane, octane, nonane, and decane.

Alkene compounds are hydrocarbon compounds that have double bonds in the carbon chain. The general formula for alkenes is expressed through the general formula CnH2n. That is, the alkene compound for every n C atom will bind to the 2n H atom.

Aluna compound is a hydrocarbon compound that has a triple bond on the carbon chain. The general formula for alkenes is stated in the general formula CnH2n-2. So, every n atom C will bind with 2n - 2 H atoms.

Answer:

Cis- and trans-3-hexene are symmetric hydrocarons that give only one major product i.e 3-hexanol upon hydroboration.

Explanation:

During hydroboration of 3-hexene, borane (BH3) is added to the double bond of hexene, that transfers the hydrogen atoms to that carbon which becomes is bonded to the boron. The process of hydroboration is created in two steps that leads to the formation of 3-hexanol and boric acid. (please see figure)

Now, the two stereoisomers, Cis- and trans-3-hexene both will give off the 3-hexanol upon hydroboration and the structure of these are illustrated in the figure.

How do you express homogeneous reactions in the Keq formula? How is that different than how you express heterogeneous reactions?
ehidna [41]
Consider the following homogenous reaction:
aA + bB ⇔ cC + dD

The equilibrium constant is written as:
Kc = ([C]^c * [D]^d) / ([A]^a * [B]^b)
Therefore the equilibrium constant is the ratio of the concentration of the products to concentration of the reactants at equilibrium.

For a heterogenous reaction, the species that are not in the same physical state as the rest of the chemical species are omitted from the expression. Considering the previous reaction, if reactant A was solid and the remaining were gaseous, the expression will be:
Kc = ([C]^c * [D]^d) / [B]^b

As a part of a clinical study, a pharmacist is asked to prepare a modification of a standard 22g package of a 2% mupirocin ointm
Vesna [10]

Answer:

226.8 mg of mupirocin powder are required

Explanation:

Given that;

weight of standard pack = 22 g

mupirocin by weight = 2%

so weight of mupirocin = 2% × 22 = 2/100 × 22 = 0.44 g

so by adding the needed quantity of mupirocin powder to prepare a 3% w/w mupirocin ointment

mg of mupirocin powder are required = ?, lets rep this with x

Total weight of ointment = 22 + x g

Amount of mupirocin = 0.44 + x g

percentage of mupirocin in ointment is 3?

so

3/100 = 0.44 + x g / 22 + x g

3( 22 + x g ) = 100( 0.44 + x g )

66 + 3x g = 44 + 100x g

66 - 44 = 100x g - 3x g

97 x g = 22

x g = 22 / 97

x g = 0.2268 g

we know that; 1 gram = 1000 Milligram

so 0.2268 g = x mg

x mg = 0.2268 × 1000

x mg = 226.8 mg

Therefore, 226.8 mg of mupirocin powder are required
