16% of a number is 60. What is that number?

A375
B 432
C 456
D753
Vlad1618 [11]

Answer:

Its A: 375

Because, if you take 26.6 you have to round it. So, the 6 behind the decimal is over 5 so make the other 6 in front of the decimal a 7. So, the 7 will add 1 to the 2 to make it 3. And i forgot how to get the 5, but trust me dis is right. :3

What is the equation of a line with a slope of -2 that passes through the point (6, 8)?
iren [92.7K]

Answer:

2x + y = 20

Step-by-step explanation:

gradient = -2

x = 6, y = 8

y - 8 = -2(x - 6)

y - 8 = -2x + 12

2x + y = 12 + 8

2x + y = 20

Alicia wants to bake a cake with ⁹/10 grams of flour.However,she only has ⅓ grams of flour she needs.How much does she have?
natali 33 [55]

Answer:

We know that:

She needs 9/10 grams of flour for the cake (this quantity does not make a lot of sense, maybe is written incorrectly, but is the only info we have, so let's solve the problem with this)

She only has 1/3 of the amount she needs.

How much flour does she have?

Well, she needs 9/10 grams, and she has one-third of that.

Then she has (1/3) times (9/10) grams, this is:

F = (1/3)*(9/10) grams

F = (1*9)/(3*10) grams

F = 9/30 grams

That is the amount of flour that she has.

Solve for x. -2(16 - 4x) - 8 = 6(x + 2)
Amanda [17]
So...

-2(16-4x)-8=6(x+2)             Multiply
-32+8x-8=6x+12                 Add like terms
-40+8x=6x+12 Subtract 6x from both sides
-40+2x=12 Add 40 to both sides
2x=52 Divide 2 from both sides
x=26                                   Substitute to check
-2(16-4(26))-8=6((26)+2) Add and multiply in parenthesis
-2(-88)-8=6(28)                  Multiply
176-8=168                         Subtract
168=168

So x=26

I hope this helps! Have a great day!
