What is the difference between weight and mass?
n200080 [17]

Explanation:

Mass is the amount of matter in an object.

Weight is the gravitational force exerted between two masses.

On earth, an object might weigh 6 Newtons.  On the moon, the same object weighs 1 Newton.  The mass doesn't change, but the weight does, because of the difference in gravity.
