Answer: Red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and plasma

Explanation:

Red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and plasma are considered the four main parts of human blood.

Plasma is the liquid component of the blood and in plasma, there are found fat, protein, salts, sugar, and water. The function of the plasma is to transport blood cells through the body with all nutrients, waste products, clotting proteins, antibodies, and more.

Red blood cells or also called erythrocytes have a function to contain a special protein that is called hemoglobin and it is helping with carrying oxygen from the lungs to the body and then it returns carbon dioxide from the body to the lungs and that process is called exhalation.

White blood cells or also called leukocytes have the ability to protect the body from infections.

Platelets or also called thrombocytes are small fragments of the cells. They are helping blood in clotting procces.

<span>Studies have shown that a number of psychological factors might predispose an athlete to an acute injury. Different people have different “mind-sets” for the competition and intensity of exercise or sports. If you’re overly “psyched out” by the importance you place on the number of repetitions you can do or the number of games you win, or if the environmental conditions in which you must perform aren’t ideal (“it’s too windy/cold/hot”), your psychological state could detract from your performance and put you at risk for injury. If you’re already injured and are still engaging in activity, this, too, can be a distraction that puts you at greater risk.</span>
