Use pemdas.

1. 3 * 4 = 12. Or x + x + x + x + x + x + x + x + x + x + x + x = x^12

Explaination: when there are parentheses followed by a multiplier, you must multiply everything within the parentheses. Since the multiplier in this case is an exponent, simply multiply the 2 exponents together and move the base to the other aide of the equal sign.

2. 4 * 2 = 8.

Explaination: Same as above. Since x and y are unlike terms, you cant simplify this equation any further.

Good luck I hope this helps! If you have any further questions let me know!

Crazy boy [7]

The solution to the equation is y = 5.5 + x , for any real number x greater than or equal to zero and y any real number greater than or equal to 5.5.

Analysis:

since number of items cannot be negative x and y are real number numbers since y or x can be a decimal so we do not use integers alone.

so y = 5.5 + x , for any real number x greater than or equal to zero and y any real number greater than or equal to 5.5.

ZA and ZB are complementary angles. If
the measure of ZA is 42°, find the measure
of ZB.
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]
Answer: ZB = 48 degree

Explanation:

Complementary angle means 2 angel add together and create a right angle (90 degree).

Thus, ZA + ZB = 90 degree
But ZA = 42 degree

=> 42 degree + ZB = 90 degree
=> ZB = (90 - 42)degree
=> ZB = 48 degree

The graph shows the relationship between the amount of water that flows from a fountain and time. Write an equation to represent
crimeas [40]

Since, we are given

straight line

so, we can find equation of straight line

Let's assume

y is the amount of water that inflows

x is the time in minutes

We can select any two points

(0,0) and (2,500)

Firstly , we will find slope

m=\frac{500-0}{2-0}

m=250

now, we can use point slope form of line

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

we can plug values

and we get

y-0=250(x-0)

y=250x..............Answer
