Answer:

total force =   4.704 × 10^5 N

Explanation:

given data

height = 5 m

depth = 2 m

thick plastic = 8.00 m

depth = 4.00 m

solution

first we get here force in which aquarium fill with depth 2 m

dF = PdA   ......1

F = ∫PdA

F = ∫ϼgy(wdy)

F = ϼgw ∫ y dy

F =  ϼgw × \frac{y^2}{2}    .................2

F = 1000 \times 9.8 \times 8 \times \frac{2^2}{2}

F = 1.568 × 10^5 N

and

now we get here force for depth 4 m

put here value in equation 2

F = 1000 \times 9.8 \times 8 \times \frac{4^2}{2}

F = 6.272 × 10^5 N

so that here

total force will be

total force =  6.272 × 10^5 N   -  1.568 × 10^5 N

total force =   4.704 × 10^5 N

Answer:

4.6×10^-7 m or 0.46nm

Explanation:

From

Wo= hc/λ

Where:

Wo= work function of the metal

h= planks constant

c= speed of light

λ= wavelength

λ= hc/Wo

λ= 6.6×10^-34 × 3×10^8/4.30×10^-19

λ= 4.6×10^-7 m

The distance between slits in a double-slit experiment is decreased by a factor of 2. If the distance between fringes is small c
Elodia [21]

Answer:

the distance between adjacent fringes is increased by a factor o 2

Explanation:

To find how the distance between fringes is modified you can use the following formula for the calculation of the distance between fringes:

\Delta y=\frac{\lambda D}{d}

D: distance to the screen

d: distance between slits

λ: wavelength of the light

if d is decreased by a factor of 2, that is d'=1/2d, you have:

\Delta y'=\frac{\lambda D}{d'}=\frac{\lambda D}{(1/2)d}=2\Delta y

hence, the distance between adjacent fringes is increased by a factor o 2

The _____ inside the stratosphere blocks ultraviolet radiation. apex
podryga [215]
The ozone layer that is inside the stratosphere blocks UV radiation.

The ozone layer contains high concentrations of ozone relative to other parts of the atmosphere. This was discovered by Charles Fabry and Henri Buisson who are both French Physicists.

The ozone in the earth's stratosphere is created through ultraviolet light striking a group of ordinary oxygen molecules containing two oxygen atoms, subsequently splitting them into individual oxygen atoms and finally these said atomic oxygen then combines with unbroken O2 to create ozone (O3).
