Why are republican and democratic politicians more likely to respond to the wealthy?.
Gre4nikov [31]

The Republicans and Democratic politicians are more likely to respond to the wealthy because they believe that the wealthy are more likely to contribute money to the campaigns.

Republicans and Democratic politicians are aware of the fact that the major chunk of the population is the poor people, but they do not have any knowledge of democracy and their voting rights. Most of the poor are illiterate and even if they are literate, they have lost their hopes and have no interest in voting and democracy. On the other hand, the wealthy are less but they are the ones to vote. They will have a greater representation on voting and choosing a suitable leader. Also, the process of elections involves campaigns, and the wealthy are the ones to provide the needed funds in campaigns. Sometimes even the votes are bought from poor people with the help of the money which the wealthy people provide dering election campaigns.
