Because of wind chill, they may say that the way it feels is -3, but it was probably much warmer, but later (at 12 degrees) they were probably reporting actually temp.

Step 1) Choose two points on the line

Point 1: (4, 500)

Point 2: (8, 1000)

Step 2) Use the slope formula to find the slope

m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

m = (1000 - 500) / (8 - 4)

m = 500 / 4

m = 125 feet per minute
