8, you want to have a right angle = 90 deg, clear?

I will see that 12x-6 will equivalent to 90° because both angle add together to get 180° and each of them has 90° each which is complementary angel, so here is the equation:
12x-6=90
Add 6 to each side
12x-6+6=90+6
12x=96
Divided both side by 12
12x/12=96/12
x=8
To prove x is correct, I will give you another way to et the same answer. We see that 12x-6 and 90° formed the straight line which add up to total of 180°, so
12x-6+90=180
12x+84=180
Subtract 84 to each side
12x+84-84=180-84
12x=96
Divided both side by 12
12x/12=96/12
x=8. As a result, the correct answer is 8. Hope it help!

SCORPION-xisa [38]

Answer:

3\sqrt{141}

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the Pythagorean Theorem.

37^{2}=x^{2}+10^{2}

1369=x^{2}+100

-100       -100

1269=x^{2}

\sqrt{1269}=\sqrt{x^{2} }

3\sqrt{141}=x

(Number 5)help plzzz
EleoNora [17]

Answer:

See below.

Step-by-step explanation:

So we want to prove that:

\sqrt8+\sqrt2=3\cdot 2^{\frac{1}{2}}

First, simplify √8. This is the same as:

\sqrt8=\sqrt{4\cdot 2}=\sqrt4\cdot\sqrt2=2\sqrt2

Therefore, our equation is now:

2\sqrt2+\sqrt2=3\cdot2^{\frac{1}{2}}

Combine like terms on the left:

3\sqrt2=3\cdot 2^\frac{1}{2}}

The square root of something is the same as taking that number to the one-half power. Thus:

3(2)^\frac{1}{2}}=3\cdot 2^\frac{1}{2}}

Rewrite:

3\cdot2^\frac{1}{2}}\stackrel{\checkmark}{=}3\cdot2^\frac{1}{2}}

And we're done!
