3x=1

x=⅓

so

f(x)=18x³+x-1

f(⅓)=18.(⅓)³+⅓-1

f(⅓)=18.⅓.⅓.⅓+⅓-1

f(⅓)=6.⅑+⅓-1

f(⅓)=⅔+½-1

f(⅓)=0

<h3>therefore</h3><h3> the remainder is 0</h3>
