Answer

given,

R₁= 4 Ω

R₂ = 3 Ω

When two resistors are connected in series

R = R₁ + R₂

R = 4 + 3

R = 7 Ω

When two resistors are connected in series then their effective resistance is equal to 7 Ω .

When two resistors are connected in parallel.

\dfrac{1}{R}=\dfrac{1}{R_1}+\dfrac{1}{R_2}

\dfrac{1}{R}=\dfrac{1}{3}+\dfrac{1}{4}

\dfrac{1}{R}=\dfrac{7}{12}

R = 1.714 \Omega

Hence, the equivanet resistance in parallel is equal to R = 1.714 \Omega

Which words best describe the archer's results?
Inessa [10]

The words best describe the archer's results are  The correct option is A.

<h3>What is accuracy?</h3>

When in an experiment, a value is measured 5 times, then if the values measured are same for most of the time or like three times out of five, it said to be accurate. The phenomenon is accuracy.

Precision is about comparing the values to each other then find them near to each other.

Given is an archer's targets on the target board.

Accuracy compares the experimental value to the theoretical value (desired target)

So, when all the values are close to each other but not nearest to the theoretical value, then it is said to be precise but not accurate.

Thus, the correct option is A.

A pendulum has a mass of 0.060 kg swinging at a small angle from a light string, with a period of 1.4 s. What is the length of t
jok3333 [9.3K]

Answer:

0.5 m

Explanation:

From the question given above, the following data were obtained:

Mass (m) = 0.060 kg

Period (T) = 1.4 s

Lenght (L) =?

NOTE:

1. Acceleration due to gravity (g) = 10 m/s²

2. Pi (π) = 3.14

The length of the pendulum can be obtained as follow:

T = 2π√(L/g)

1.4 = 2 × 3.14 × √(L/10)

1.4 = 6.28 × √(L/10)

Divide both side by 6.28

1.4 / 6.28 = √(L/10)

Take the square of both side

(1.4 / 6.28)² = L/10

Cross multiply

L = 10 × (1.4 / 6.28)²

L = 0.5 m

Therefore, the length of the pendulum is 0.5 m
