Answer:

a)H=84.87 m

b)R=565.27 m

Explanation:

Given that

Speed of ball on earth

U=41.2 m/s

θ=31°

We know that

Maximum height in projectile motion given as

h=\dfrac{U^2sin^2\theta }{2g}

h=\dfrac{41.2^2sin^231}{2\times 9.81}

h=22.94 m

Range in projectile motion given as

r=\dfrac{U^2sin2\theta }{g}

r=\dfrac{41.2^2sin62 }{g}

r=152.77 m

Given that on distance planet ball moves 3.7 times far more as on earth.

So on the distance planet

The maximum height ,H=3.7 h

H= 3.7 x 22.94

H=84.87 m

The range on distance planet

R=3.7 r

R=3.7 x 152.77 m

R=565.27 m

A pressure of 7x10^5N/m is applied to all surfaces of a copper cube (of sides 25 cm) what is the fractional change in volume of
AnnyKZ [126]

Answer:

The correct solution is "5\times 10^{-4} %".

Explanation:

The given values are:

Pressure,

\Delta P=7\times 10^5 \ N/m

for copper,

B=14\times 10^{10} \ N/m

As we know,

The Bulk Modulus (B) = \frac{\Delta P}{-\frac{\Delta V}{V} }

or,

The decrease in volume will be:

= (\frac{\Delta V}{V})\times 100 \ percent

then,

= \frac{\Delta P}{B}\times 100 \ percent

On putting the values, we get

= \frac{7\times 10^5}{14\times 10^{10}}\times 100 \ percent

= 5\times 10^{-4} \ percent

Alexandra [31]

When a balloon is rubbed with human hair, the balloon acquires an excess static charge. This implies that some materials can give up electrons more readily than others.

Answer: Option C

<u>Explanation:</u>

We know that charges can neither be created nor be destroyed by law of conservation of charges. So when we rub two objects, it is natural to have a transfer of charges. But the charges which get transferred may be negligible in most of the cases leading to no significant observations.

But for some materials, like when we rubbed a balloon with human hair, we observed clouding of excess static charge on the balloon surface. This indicates that hair can easily give up electrons to balloon leading to clouding of excess static charge on it.

Shortly after the Earth first formed, intense heat built up and large portions of the planet became molten. What happened to the
Drupady [299]
The Earth cooled down, forming water on vast lands while leaving others dry. oxygen and carbon from volcanoes helped create plant life under water, away from the sun's harmful UV rays. Eventually, the plants created enough oxygen to create an ozone layer around earth, making our planet sustainable for life, thus, creating life or as we can call it, one celled organisms. These cells would eventually evolve into bigger life forms, like the dinosaurs.

Temperature has a(n) _____ effect on the pressure and volume of a gas.
Fiesta28 [93]

Temperature has a direct effect on the pressure of a gas.

If the pressure is constant and the gas is free to fill more
or less space, then temperature also has a direct effect on
