Answer:

10.2

Step-by-step explanation:

Using Pythagoreans theorem, i did A^2 + B^2 = C^2

in this case,

4^2 + x^2 = 11^2

16 + x^2 = 121

x^2 = 105

square root both sides

you get 10.2469508

or 10.2

Answer:

Hello! answer: 10.2

11 × 11 = 121 4 × 4 = 16 121 - 16 = 105 √105 = 10.24 If you reduce it you get 10.2 therefore x = 10.2 HOPE THAT HELPS!

19.

A) 84 : 120 --) 7 : 10, I came up with it by knowing x, # of times ordered,

7(x) : 3(x) sum will be 120 and guessed from there.

B) Well I came up with it trying to get the ratio for A, 84 smoothies.

C) 84 ( smoothies) - 36 ( juice drinks)

20.

A) Ok you first have the birds from the first hour which sum up to 24. Then to calculate what of how many birds you saw for the second hour you use the ratio 2 (cardinals) : 3 ( chickadees) : 3 ( pigeons). Now before you use the ratio you need to know how many birds out of the 36 have not been seen in the first hour so just subtract 36 - 24 = 12. Next you figure out what number you can multiply every bird against to get a sum of 12 birds in total. I figured out it's 1.5 as a multiplier. I know physically it's not possible, but I did all the steps correct and apparently they don't care it's not realistic. I hope this helps you on the homework sheet.

Mama L [17]
The remaining area that the grass will cover will be given by:
Area=[area of rectangle]-[area of the triangle]
area of rectangle will be:
A1=length*width
=20*8
=160 square feet

The area of the triangle will be:
A2=1/2absin theta
since the triangle is equilateral, all the angles are equal and the size of each angle is 60°. Thus the area will be:
A2=1/2*5*5sin 60
=18.3
thus the remaining area of the grass will be:
Area=160-18.3
=149.7 square feet

a recreation park measurers 560m long and 700m wide. A 250m and 150m area of the park is used for soccer and baseball filed .How
Triss [41]

Answer: 354500m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of the recreation park  = 560m x 700m

                                               = 392000m²

Area used for soccer and baseball = 250m x 150m

                                                          = ¹⁵⁰⁰⁰⁰/₄

                                                          = 37500m².

Area of the remaining park  = 392000 - 37500

                                              = 354500m²
